Last year RG did a fantasy chessboard for the Troll Lord convention.  Small audience (first year venue) but amazing fun.  I was amazed by the number of truly talented people who came together for the board, from DuWayne's handmade masks to Chris's costuming.  We pulled out costumes from years and years ago (A good chunk of my closet got emptied) and managed to get thirty two people costumed and armored without spending much money on anything new.

Since the board was for a gaming convention, the jokes were flying.  "Take a five foot step back,"  "Oh, someone didn't take ranks in concentration," and a "+5 bag of hagging" were among my favorites.  Here's some photos from the rehersals, the costume preview and the event itself.
